"Service" refers to the Fondaco platform available at fondaco.ai. "User" refers to any individual or entity that creates an Account. "Content" refers to all data, text, documents, and materials you upload or create within the Service. "Fund" refers to any venture capital fund entity managed through the Service.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. One free trial account is permitted per person or entity. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.
Fondaco grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or distribute the Service. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service. You may not build a competitive product using the platform or circumvent these terms through automated access.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We will provide 30 days notice before any price changes take effect. Payment disputes must be raised within 60 days of the charge.
The 21-day free trial provides full access to all features with no credit card required. After the trial period, your account transitions to read-only mode. Your data is preserved and accessible upon upgrading to a paid plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted. Fondaco may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may export all your data at any time before cancellation.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create within the Service. We will not disclose your data except as necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, or Terms enforcement. Each fund's data is isolated — one fund's team cannot access another fund's data. You may export your data in CSV or JSON format at any time. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes.
AI-powered features including email classification and deal extraction leverage third-party providers under enterprise terms. These features are provided "as-is" and should not be used as the sole basis for investment decisions. AI outputs are tools to assist your workflow, not professional investment advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FONDACO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fondaco and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days advance notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
